Skinny Alphabet Book

These are my covers for a Skinny Alphabet Book, a weekly challenge at Paper Traders. I´ve chosen moods as a theme for my book. The first weeks´s challenge is the letter H, using a dictionary definition, so my first mood is feeling homeless:

Moo Cards

What a quick and easy challenge this week´s Wednesday Stamper´s theme is: Moo Cards!
These have been fun to make and they look like they should be traded - so if you´d like to trade your own Moo Cards for these, please let me know!

The Letter Y

The challenge to make ATCs with word beginning with the letter Y wasn´t terrifying any more when I decided to use English words instead of German ...

Normally I don´t like yellow, but the reason for the fact that these three turned out yellow must be the strong influence of the Y in yellow.

TMTA - Smile

What do you think when you hear the word "smile"? Well, yes, here she is - a modern version of Mona who knows what a Smiley is and who´s hand maybe just tries to reach her computer mouse ...

Six ATCs for a swap themed "ATCs with Tags" - I´ve tried just to let my ideas flow.

Paula

This canvas is about Paula Becker-Modersohn, a German painter who lived from 1876 to 1907. Born in Dresden, she soon came to Bremen and then to the artists´ colony in Worpswede in 1898. After a stay in Paris in 1900 she was married to Otto Modersohn in 1901. She left him in 1906 to live in Paris again but returned in 1907 and got pregnant. Her daughter was born on November 2nd, and she died 18 days later. Her friend Rainer Maria Rilke wrote his "Requiem for a friend" for her after her death which contains the lines I´ve quoted here:
"We have, indeed, when we love, only this one thing:/ to loose one another: because holding on to ourselves/ comes easily to us, and does not first have to be learned." (Translation by A. S. Kline)

There´s a new video with my stuff now. You can watch it here. Once again my BIL (who is the little boy on my triptych and the B/W playing card transfers) made it for me. There´ll be a third one soon because I´ve sent him too many pics to put them in a single video ... Hope you´ll like it!

You´ll recognize that these ATCs show the same boy (my BIL) as the triptych I´ve made yesterday, but without any colour now ...

Isn´t this boy a sweetie? Well, he´s grown up, become my BIL and will get this ATC triptych for his birthday. Thanks to Wednesday Stampers for the triptych idea!

I´m back

I haven´t been lying at the beach but being busy making some ATCs for trades at the Stempelmekka. These are mostly stamped because I haven´t been at home and had no pics and ephemera with me ... You´ll find a few examples of what I did here and in the next posts.
