Last week, we´ve had the meteorological beginning of Spring, but also the coldest nights and days for this winter. Springtime seems to be far away, but as it´s the theme for this week´s
Sunday Postcard Art challenge, I´ve had a hot cup of tea and pulled out my Springtime stuff early for this collage: the background is a hand-dyed book page with song lyrics and the title "Spring Greetings", and I´ve added elements from Marta van Eck and Holliewood Studios to express what Spring means to me: fresh colours, singing birds and new beginnings. I really cant wait to see and hear the birds again on my balcony!
Just beautiful so many lovely details.
ReplyDeleteAnother charmer!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, and that is a gorgeous bird. Yes, Spring means singing birds to me, too. We already have them calling to each other here, but I haven't seen any nests yet. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Marion! I love all of the images you chose, and the colours are perfect for Spring. I hope it warms up soon for you!
ReplyDeleteEine wunderschöne Karte, Marion

Love your detailed collage! We're getting a slow intro here on the Texas Coast, thankfully. No humidity, just breezy not-cold days. But a bit too much rain for me, my arthritis's are talking back to the weather change. xoxo
ReplyDeleteLOVE what you’ve done here with this collage! Lots of lovely Spring details to seek out. I look forward to Spring right immediately after Fall! No cold Winter lover here. Just like for you, it’s still a long way off.
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful and love your new blog header!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful card, perfect images for Spring, all the snow that we had last week has gone and the temperature has gone up a few degrees so hopefully Spring will be here soon.
ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
I just love this one. Bonnie. The colors are beautiful and everything works so well together and points us towards spring. Have a wonderful weekend. xo Diana
