There are a few things that I need in the morning before I start the day - a cup of coffee, something with calories, and a newspaper. And it has to be real paper and not digital - and then when I enter the bus that takes me to work, I need a book made of paper and not an e-book. Maybe it´s because I´m not a digital native, but I believe that there are a lot of other reasons ... what about you?
For this week´s Sunday Postcard Art challenge, I´ve picked Newspaper as my theme, and my card combines actual torn newspaper, a newspaper rubber stamp in red on the background, and of course the newspaper boy, one of my favourite rubber stamps.
I hope you´ll feel inspired by this theme to recycle your daily newspaper and make a 4 x 6 postcard with it - but of course you can also use digital newspaper elements ;-)
(For my card, I´ve used stamps from Tin Can Mail, Impression Obsession, Hampton Arts, Catslife, Stampington and LaBlanche.)

Love your example postcard really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis sample is perfect. Great stamps and images. I love this art piece.
ReplyDeleteA great challenge and beautiful expressive post card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great mixed media card! Arias I'm stuck with digital. But I still want a "real" book to read!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeletegorgeous sample Marion... i too love a 'real' book... but I dont read newspapers these days... so much paper wastage.
ReplyDeletethanks for hosting
Total klasse geworden (wie immer *zwinker*)!
ReplyDeleteIch hatte zu wenig Zeit zum Spielen (und zuwenig pssende Stempel...)
LG Katrin
Marion, I love your sample and thanks for hosting us again! I also love a good real newspaper, even though I don’t read one daily. When I do I try to recycle it as much as possible (clipping out images and text) and then it hits the recycling bin. I also love real books! But I do read electronic books sometimes. In fact I often have one paper booke, one e-book and one audio book on the go at the same time! Xx
ReplyDeleteI so agree with everything...the coffee, the calories, the texture and feel of something real to see and read! LOVE your postcard...all your postcards are fabulous! Sorry I haven't been around much. Hope you are well.
