Perfect Distress is this week´s Tim Holtz technique for Linda´s Compendium of Curiosities challenge. I have used wild honey, broken china, and dusty concord for the background and stamped with aged mahogany and chipped sapphire, then used Perfect Pearls in Rust and Blue Patina - what a pity that the scan doesn´t show the shimmer!
Beautiful tag! The choice of colours is just perfect - I had problems with the shimmer and I think your scan made a far better job than my camera... Love that swirl to the left.
This is stunning, Marion! I love your choice of stamps for this technique. The windmill looks amazing with the Perfect Distress, and the colors blend so beautifully. It's truly fabulous!
Love the background. I like how the Perfect Distress ended up looking like a sketch.

ReplyDeleteTerrific tag! I know what you mean about the shimmer not showing, but when it does, it's difficult to see what's under it! Beautiful work.
