Theme No. 31 for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge is Tim Holtz´"Rusted Enamel" technique. It´s a pity that the scan can´t show the nice texture and that you can´t touch the original tag - it feels a bit like leather, and I think this technique would be great for decorating book covers. My Rusted Enamel background was made with Wild Honey, Dried Marigold, and Rusty Hinge and textured with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. I´ve stamped on it with StazOn Black Cherry and Timber Brown.
Marion, you're so right-- the enameled tag DOES feel like leather! Your art is just wonderful. I love the amazing collage you created-- it's beautiful and clever, and those colors are so gorgeous. The little Bingo token is such a perfect touch! Great job!
