Gothic Arch Mingle: Vintage Romance

If you know me for a while you maybe know that I´m not so much into heart designs and that most of my work isn´t romantic. Nevertheless I signed up for a Gothic Arch mingle themed Vintage Romance ...
These three arches are completely stamped, and I decided to use the same heart stamp (which isn´t my own) for all three and just playing with different couples and colours.
And as they are "stamped only" they qualify for the Wednesday Stamper´s theme "Gothic Arch".

Back home again

Christmas is over and I´m back home. All gifts are unwrapped, so here´s the tag I´ve made as a bookmark for my BIL, using one of his own photos.

Skinny Book - Q is for Quiet

The challenge for our Q page was to use historic ornament for the background. This medieval ornament reminds me of the quietness in churches or in a winter landscape so it´s perfect here.
And Quiet is the key-word for the next week: I´ll be on vacation and without internet access until Saturday, so I hope you´ll all have a merry Christmas and come back next year.

One last tag before Christmas - trying to stop making those tags ...

Light

... is this week´s Wednesday Stamper´s theme. So here are a Christmas ATC and a light themed tag.

Addictive Tags

At the moment I like to send tags instead of greeting cards, they are so much fun, and I love their size.

Umbrellas

When I saw this week´s Wednesday Stamper´s theme "umbrellas" I went to see how many umbrella stamps I have - exactly two!
So I used them to make an ATC and a Moo card. No collage today, both are completely stamped.
(Oh, I almost forgot: Zuflucht means resort!)

Skinny Book - V is for Violable

This week´s challenge for our Alphabet Skinny Book was to use some aging techniques for our letter V page. I´ve scratched and sanded my acrylic background, made it blurry and battered, and so it´s just right to illustrate the mood I wanted to illustrate: violable. Isn´t that a feeling you´d like to forget about for the rest of your life? I really hate it but think I´ve found the right symbol here, showing the individual as a target for everyone.

Inky Layers

This is what came out when I experimented with Bernie Berlin´s Inky Layers technique.

Journal "The Backyard Chook Shed"

This is my spread for Jenene´s Journal titled "The Backyard Chook Shed" - the page on the left is "safe", the one on the right (here it´s below) is "dangerous".

Skinny Book - D is for Dizzy

This week Keron wanted us to make a background marbled with shaving cream and alcohol inks. It was the first time I´ve tried this technique, and my page looked so confusing that I had no choice but "dizzy" as this week´s mood ...

It´s time for Christmas cards ...

... so here´s the first batch of them. I don´t send many cards for Christmas but like the idea of writing Christmas letters to some close friends, and I like them to be nicely packaged.

Gothic Arch Winter

Winter is this week´s theme for the Gothic Arch Challenge - I´ve chosen the three graces driving away the cold winter so that they don´t have to feel cold in their flimsy dresses ... Must be searching for my old LP with this song by the Horslips now.
