Crow Charm

I´ve made a crow pendant with shrink plastic, beads, and wire, using a stamp from Meer Image. You know that I´m a big fan of crows and ravens, so I´ll wear my necklace today.
Thanks Wednesday Stamper for the great idea!

Letter A ATCs

During the last 26 months I have participated in an Alphabet ATC swap which is now starting with letter A again - don´t know if I´ll make it to the end another time but here are my first ATCs. (Artig means well-behaved, Acht is eight, and Amsel is a blackbird.)

And here´s another link to Patti´s great swap entry.

Postage People Update

Watch out for more Postage People by Sabine!
And there has been a sign up from Malaysia, welcome to the swap.

Skinny Book - A is for Alone

The challenge for our Skinny Alphabet Book page for the letter A was to use stripes. Remember that my book´s theme is "In the Mood" and you know why my stripes look like a cage and so the woman must be alone - even her bird who once shared her loneliness has been able to leave his cage. What is she going to do now?

Weird Mood

I really believe that if you are in a weird mood you should make some Zetti ATCs.

Journal "Mythical Creatures"

Here´s my entry for Nadine´s Journal themed "Mythical Creatures". I´m not a big fan of fairies, elves and dragons, but I AM a lover of medieval literature, and "Tristan and Isold" by Gottfried von Straßburg is my favourite medieval text - so here are the two lovers some time after Tristan has beaten the dragon, and the interwoven roses show us what will happen after their death.

Boring?

If you think it´s boring to check out only my own Postage People, just have a look at what other participants of my swap have done - here´s another completely different style by Martine.
Oh, and then Jane had a wonderful hint for me; maybe it´s another inspiration for your Postage People!? You can use LP covers like we use Postage stamps in our swap - have a look here.

Postage People Update No. 1

Wow, you´re all great! I would never have thought of so many people interested in my ongoing blog swap! I´ve had about 15 people definitely signing up and about five more who are thinking about it - thank you! There´ll be participants from Germany, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Belgium, England, the United States, and Australia. Some of you have already been busy - wanna see some examples? Look here: Hermine, Viola, and Xela have already posted some ATCs! If you also have something to show us, I´ll gladly post a link to your blog or album in the next update, just let me know. Hope you have fun creating!

More Keys

O. k., here´s a bright and funny version of this week´s Wednesday Stamper´s theme Keys.

Keys

This week´s Wednesday Stamper´s theme is Keys.
The Card has an Anne Sexton quote (Death sits with his key in my lock - a bit hard to read because of the dimensional lock and key), the other one is an ATC.

This is what we all might need: A Guardian Angel for the new year. It´s this week´s theme at the Gothic Arches Challenge site.
