What a challenge! For Martha´s tip-in book I´ve had to do Vintage Christmas pages in September! She said that she likes light greens and white with red accents, so here´s what I´ve done for her.
This card shows my favourite stamped Patterns for this week´s Wednesday Stamper´s challenge. I have stamped the positive/negative punchinella pattern (Lucy Stamps?) with gesso on a turquoise card, then rubbed on and wiped away several dye inks. On the edges theres a lovely scribble (Stampendous)stamped with gesso and black ink. I added the word Chaos (Stamping Fairies) and an eye (A Capella) stamped on a Tim Holtz Fragment tile that I have coloured with alcohol inks and glued some white paper behind to make it stand out.
I´m back home from the Stempelmekka, a little exhausted but with new stamps and 48 traded ATCs! When I saw this week´s Wednesday Stamper´s theme my first thought was "I´ll be back next week", but then my mind started working, and here´s my piece for "peace" ... This collage is quite large, about 6,3 x 10 inches.
Tomorrow we´ll be on our way to Münster and we´ll be in Hagen on Saturday - early enough to trade a few ATCs before the doors of the Stempelmekka will be opened! These are my last ATCs for this event, I now have 65 cards for trade - well, it´s my nineth Mekka, so I know that this may not be enough ... (I´ve read that others have 80 or 100 ATCs for trade - ouch!!!)
For a swap in a German group I had to make three mini collages, measuring only 1,57 x 1,57 inches. I´ve mounted them on a card because that makes it easier to mail them.
This is my spread for Teri´s tip-in book themed "Here Kitty, Kitty!". The pages are each 5 x 5 inches. Though the book´s title may remind you of some cute kitty images, this is not necessarily what we were asked to do for this book.
Only about one week until this year´s Stempelmekka - yippieeh! I hope I´ll meet some of you there, and if you don´t notice my nameplate please look out for this bag - I´ll have ATCs for trade in it! So if you meet me in Hagen, please speak to me; I love to get to know my blog readers and maybe have an ATC trade.
I have to do Architecture ATCs for two different swaps. So this week´s TMTA theme was a good reason to start working on them today ... These have all been done using collage elements, gesso, and rubber stamps.
