La vie en rose
This week´s theme for the "Dans ma maison il y a ..." challenge is "une chanson". You all know the great Edith Piaf song of course that this lady sings under her lace roof.
BTW, have you noticed the new challenge blog "Creative Wednesday"? This house also qualifies for this week´s challenge "Row Houses".
Thanks to Lorraine for the wonderful background paper!

Summer Tea Party
It took me a while to put this 5,9 x 8,3 inches collage together, but hey - it´s Wednesday again, so it´s perfect to add it to the Wednesday Stamper´s challenge now. This has been a difficult one!

Secret
Have you already noticed the wonderful "Mind Wide Open" challenges? This time you have to use a beautiful picture of a woman behind a keyhole and the word "secret" as a prompt for your piece. The frame for this piece is 8,3 x 8,3 inches. I have painted and rusted the frame and image and added some rusted metal embellishments. The rusted key at the bottom was attached by a torn piece of fabric. The whole piece is hanging from a piece of wire going through the golden heart below the word "secret". The poem written on the frame is medieval German from the 12th century:
Du bist min, ich bin din / des solt du gewis sin. / du bist beslozzen / in minem herzen: / verlorn ist das sluzzelin: / du muost och immer darinne sin.
(You are mine, I am yours for sure. You are in my heart, and the key is lost. You always have to be in there.)
