Strange?

Are you making and trading ATCs? If so, what do you think: Why are most of them beautiful/cute/uplifting/humorous etc.? Do you sometimes make or pick WEIRD/strange/confusing/disturbing ATCs?
(If you´re a regular visitor of my blog, you already know that I´m not a big fan of those popular affirmations that make you feel good, but most often prefer words and images that make you think - how about you? What do you seek when you´re looking at artwork of any kind? And what do you think about "ugly" but true art?)
I´m really curious if these two ATCs will be shelf warmers in my ATC album or if they´ll find new homes ...

DADA

101 years ago, the Dada movement was founded in Zurich. I´ve collected some Dada stamps over the years, and I´ve been so delighted when Heindesign came out with some wonderful new Dada stamps recently. You even get tickets for the Stempelmekka in September when you send them a collage using their new Dada letters cube, so this card will be on its way to Hagen tomorrow!
(other stamps I´ve used here are from MaVinci, Rajastamps, and A Capella, Stampers Anonymous and Hampton Art Stamps)

Hands

I´ve picked "Hands" as this week´s theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge that I´m guest hosting, and I´ve made two sample cards, one stamped and collaged, and one digital card.
The card above was made with rubber stamps from Silvercrow, Joggles, Dina Wakley, Stamp Out Cute, and RajaStamps.
My digital card features elements from Miles Beyond the Moon, Holliewood Studios, Pink Lotty, and Tumble Fish Studio, all at Mischief Circus. The song lyrics are from Ben Harper, and here´s the whole song:

Nancy from Crowabout StudioB at Mischief Circus came out with a really wonderful new kit today called "See", and I´ve combined it with two quotes I´ve always loved ... Have a look at the kit and make your own art with it - may it be digital or cut and paste (as this kit comes with printable collage sheets).

Thinking Cap

I´ll put on my thinking cap - how many times did I write this in emails and posts when I wanted to participate in a challenge or swap ... This week "Thinking Cap" is the theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge, and I knew immediately that I have just the right stamp for it - the stamps I´ve used here are from VivaLasVegaStamps, Katzelkraft, Stampendous, Scrollswork, and Inkadinkado.

Bugs

Bugs is this week´s theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge, and here´s my digital postcard made with elements from Holliewood Studios, Jen Maddocks, Lorie Davison, ViVa Artistry, Tangie Baxter, Art by January, and The Urban Fairy.

Fly

I really love Nancy Baumiller´s new Crowabout StudioB image kit "Fly"! And of course I just had to build a little neighbourhood of birds with it (though there are lots of other great images in the kit, LOL!) ...
And as always, you get printable collage sheets with the kit for all your cut and paste projects.

New Day

If you have a look at these two samples that I´ve made for Nancy Baumiller´s new Crowabout StudioB kit called "New Day", you´ll see that I´ve loved to play with this kit ...both pieces came up quite naturally because the images in the kit inspired me immediately - and I´m sure that the same will happen to you.

Inside My Own Head

Have you already visited the Mischief Circus forum this week? As I´ve told you before, we´re celebrating MC´s 7th Birthday there right now with lots of games and challenges.

We´ve been eagerly awaiting Beth´s new Songbirdy kit at Mischief Circus, and here it is: Pomp!
My first collage above is called "Always Exaggerating", and the one above is called "Psssst!".
It has been a lot of fun playing with these images, and I´m sure you´ll like this kit, too!

So Loved

Nancy from Crowabout StudioB came out with her new kit "So Loved" today, and that´s exactly what it is! I´ve used some of my favourite images from it for these two cut and paste journal pages in my Moleskine journal.
