It´s Zetti time!

I´ve been on a roll and made seven Zetti ATCs today - this is the last one, called "Citizen". But I can´t stop, think I´ll try some more ... bye ...

Bird Day No. 3

Did I already tell you that I have new stamps? Hm, I think so - but did I tell you how much I LOVE them?

A Little Bird

Another entry for the Wednesday Stampers´ "Think Pink" week.

New Stamps

I´ve had new stamps in the mail yesterday and couldn´t resist playing with them today.

Pink Paris

Pink is definitely not my favourite colour, but this week´s Wednesday Stampers´ theme is "Think Pink", so this lady is dreaming of a pink Paris.

More Love

Three more ATCs for the Love swap.

Love ATCs

As some periodical readers of my blog may know, I HATE HEARTS as a design. But Valentine´s Day is approaching, and I´ve been crazy enough to sign up for a Love themed swap ... what a challenge for a person like me ...

Poe´s Raven

Another ATC for my future Crows & Ravens swap.

Mona Madness again

I´ve made eight ATCs with exactly this week´s Wednesday Stampers´ theme "Mona Madness" for a swap in October, six of them stamped, so just click on my posts Mona Madness and Hostess Monas in the October blog archives if you want to see them all . Here´s one of the Hostess ATCs again.

Journal Cover

This is the cover for my journal themed "Sentimental Journey". It will contain all sorts of journeys into the past.

My Black Friend

Another ATC for my future swap about ravens and crows.

Experts

My To-do-list is quite long, so I´m on a roll making ATCs which have nothing to do with deadlines ...

Saturday artpARTy

This is my first ATC for the Collage Cats´ artpARTy. I love the idea of visiting the group´s Saturday night art folder instead of visiting a museum ... Maybe this lady is a bit too rusty to win the tour, but her bike isn´t.

Another Heart and Bird ATC

My second ATC for this challenge shows a bird billing with a masked man, but we don´t know if it will be a love story.

Dreaming of Birds

An ATC for a challenge themed "Heart + Bird".

Where time is made

Time is one of my favourite themes, but it hasn´t been easy to find a stamp that hasn´t already been used by one of the other Wednesday Stampers this week ... So here´s a rare one from Peddler´s Pack, combined with stamps from Unicorn and my favourite alphabet shining through.

Curious Children

Two more Lock & Key ATCs.

Another Tears ATC

This is an ATC I couldn´t scan because of the "teardrops". I´ve borrowed a camera and cut out the image with Photoshop - excuse my faults, I´m still learning ... But it´s three times better than the scan. The words are part of a poem by Rilke.

Patiently

Two locks, but only one key - this boy decided to wait patiently. But as you can see, time goes on and the door has already become rusty ...

Tears

This is one of two ATCs with the theme "tears", titled "From my tears sprout forth", illustrating a piece of music by Robert Schumann.

Faux Postage Venere

My second faux postage entry for the Wednesday Stampers is completely stamped with Cherry Pie stamps.

Faux Postage from Cologne

My faux postage for the Wednesday Stampers is a picture of Cologne in 1945, combined with a stamp of an old town plan.

Trouble

Another one with lock and key - I like the ghostly look of the girl in front of this mysterious coloured door as if the whole scene took place in another world.

More Locks & Keys

... two more for that swap ...

Lock & Key

Here are my first three ATCs for a swap themed "Under Lock & Key". A lock and a key has to be on each card which makes it a bit difficult.

Vintage Children complete

My ATCs for the Vintage Children Swap are complete now:

Shape/Wings

Quite colourful again, this ATC is for the Wednesday Stampers shapes theme. One of my favourite shapes lately have been wings - I love how they sometimes alter the character of an image and how many different forms there are, each with another character.

Ah! Colour again!

It´s fantastic to use colours again after all this white. This is a hostess ATC I´ve made today.

The Three Graces

Yesterday I´ve made a front page ATC for my favourite Yahoo group "Paper Traders" where we have a weekly rotation of front page art. Maybe you recognize two of the ATCs the graces hold, they are in this blog.

Colour progress

Isn´t it a progress? This ATC is not half as white as most of my latest cards, LOL ...

Broken Wings

Another Vintage Child.

Vintage Children

Here are some ATCs for a swap themed "Vintage Children" - it´s nice to have some colour on my cards again!

Never ending story

Here are two more white ATCs as I need a bunch of them for three different swaps now - this seems to be the theme of the season!

Happy new year!

I hope you´ll all have a happy new year with loads of time for arting and blogging!

Dare and Moments of Lifetime

Back from my Christmas holidays, I have some better scans of white ATCs now (thanks to my sister!).

Innocent White

Here´s another white one - what a relaxation to make those simple white ATCs in this hectic state of a christmas week.

White Bird

Here´s another ATC for the two White swaps - I couldn´t resist to have these eyes looking at me out of white feathers, and I´ve had the song in my ears all the time ... (is it by "It´s a beautiful day"? it reminds me on days of youth anyway).

Garden ATCs

My sister has taken a digital photo of my ATCs for the Garden swap, so now all the embellishments can be seen without darkening the picture as a whole. I´ve changed the scans in the older entries now (see November archives). Many thanks to my sister!

Those were the days

Here´s my third and last self-portrait for the Wednesday Stampers. You can see my efforts to look intelligent on a photo when I was three. Some things never change ;-)

Thursday, December 14, 2006

Another Self-Portrait

You already know this two year old girl - I wasn´t a book person when I was young, but the more I am today, so this is a combination of the child and the adult.
I would never have thought of making "self-portraits", but I have to confess it´s fun to use photos of yourself. Thanks to the Wednesday Stampers for this great idea!

Self-Portrait

In fact I´ve never felt like a princess when I was a child - so I couldn´t resist to alter my memories for the Wednesday Stampers´ self-portrait theme. I don´t know to which building the steps on the photo of my two year old self belong, but as I grew up in Cologne, I wanted me to sit in front of the cathedral. (Stamps from Stampendous, Rajastamps, and Lost Coast.)

Snowy again

Another Snow White ATC.

The Queen of Snow White

A bad scan, but a nice ATC - the second white one today. My scanner doesn´t like the shimmering snowflakes at all.

The third ATC is almost ready, too, but it´s way too late for setting eyelets :))

White Challenge

Another challenge for a colour lover like me: making white ATCs! This is my first one, and I´ll try to make enough for two swaps in the next weeks. It´s always interesting to see how much stuff you already have for a certain theme which had a good sleep in your boxes for a while ...

Embellishment week

This ATC for the Journey swap is my entry for the Wednesday Stampers this week. The theme is Embellishments, and I´ve used quite a lot of my favourites here: a single word from Tim Holtz, a locomotive charm, a Fresh Verse transparency from Déjà Views with two brads, and a frame by Karen Foster - I love her Corner & Frame Brads and use them in different ways: here the frame is highlighting the destination for example. The map stamp is from Time to Stamp. Oh, and the image was glazed with Diamond Glaze which I often use to get a 3-D look on my ATCs. The frame is filled with glaze, too.

My first folded Art Doll ATC

Today I´ve made my first folded Art Doll ATC; it´s for a Journey swap.

Mrs Dolittle

I´ve made another bird ATC this weekend - Mrs Dolittle is able to talk to the birds of course.
