Drowning in the Sea of Books

This arch is killing two birds with one stone: it´s perfect for today´s Gothic Arches challenge "Mermaids" as well as this week´s Layers of Color challenge "Summer Respite".
Can you think of a better vacation than reading everything you´ve always wanted to read?

What a wonderful take on both challenges...I just about used this same mermaid this morning. Anwyay, I do agree - books and the sea = an ideal summer and your arch is lovely.

Marion, what a beautifully created arch! I share your sentiment about books being the perfect summer respite. I just returned from a week at the beach where I read a book a day. Luxury!
