I´ve really been looking forward to this year´s Halloween weeks at Sunday Postcard Art, and now they´ve started with this week´s theme "Haunted". Here´s my digital postcard using elements from Marta van Eck, Cryztal Rain, Beth Rimmer, Finecrafted Designs, Downunder Studios and Tumble Fish Studio, all at DeviantScrap.com.

Welcome to my Circus!
It´s time for the great opening of The Moonlight Party under the Big Top! Come and see, take a trip through all the participating blogs and have fun!
Here are some circus related items I´ve made in different formats (ATCs, skinnies, cards, and other collages) and various techniques (stamping, collage, and digital).

No Wonder
You know the saying "Clothes make the man", and sometimes it´s just a new hat that makes an outfit outstanding. So if you like a new hat from time to time, the new "Noggin Toppers" kit from Tumble Fish Studio at Deviant Scrap will be right up your alley! You´ll find both png and jpg images in this kit, so it´s perfect to adorn your cut and paste collage people.
(My digital collage uses a rope from Eena´s Creations, all other images are from Tumble Fish Studio.)

No Exit
I just couldn´t resist making another collage with Tumble Fish Studio´s new "Old Haunts" kit - this one is really spooky!

Experimental
While I´ve been on vacation, Marsha from Tumble Fish Studio came up with a new versatile kit: You can use "Old Haunts" for your Halloween projects (both digital and cut and paste) or any other projects throughout the year.

Happy Halloweenie
Hidden Vintage Studio´s next Halloween kit "Happy Halloweenie" is out today, and I just love this cute little dog. As always, the kit has png as well as jpg images, so you can use it for digital or cut and paste art.
My ATC above is a cut and paste one whereas the tag was made digitally.

It´s that time of the year again ...
If you´ve ever been to the Stempelmekka in Hagen, you know that you should take some ATCs for personal trades with you, so I´ve made a few ATCs with the latest Lynne Perrella stamps as well as a bunch of soot ATCs, mostly Halloween themed. There are a few more in my "for trade album", so I´m looking forward to going to the Stempelmekka on Saturday - can´t wait!

Something Wicked This Way Comes
Hidden Vintage Studios have their next two Halloween kits out today: Toil & Trouble and Spellbinders.
My sample collage above uses the Toil & Trouble kit (plus a texture from Shadowhouse Creations), and the one below combines the Spellbinders ladies with several other Hidden Vintage Studios kits as well as bat wings (see woman on the left) from CryztalRain.

Butterflies
These are two ATCs for a Butterfly themed 2/2 partner swap, so I´ve tried to make them quite different.

Owl Hallows Eve
Hidden Vintage Studios have two new Halloween kits out today: Haunting Heroines (like the girl on the tag) and Owl Bros. - might be my new favourite!

Halloween Tags
These are my Halloween Tags for an ARTchix Sisters group swap. Of course I´ll add some ribbons, but it´s easier to scan them before these will be attached.
The Chamber of 32 Doors
When I saw the theme of this week´s SPA challenge "doors", of course I thought of one of my favourite rock groups, but my next thought was "The Chamber of 32 Doors" which is a song from Genesis´ 1974 album "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway", one of my first LPs ... The lyrics are quite mystical (as all Genesis lyrics during the Gabriel time), so you should think about them for yourself, and this card is only my own interpretation ...
At the top of the stairs, there´s hundreds of people
running around to all the doors.
They try to find themselves an audience;
their deductions need applause.
The rich man stands in front of me,
the poor man behind my back.
They believe they can control the game,
I need someone to believe in, someone to trust.
I´d rather trust a countryman than a townman,
You can judge by his eyes, take a look if you cank
He´ll smile through this guard,
survival trains hard.
I´d rather trust a man who works with his hands,
he looks at you once, you know he understands,
don´t need any shield,
when you´re out in the field.
But down here,
I´m so alone my fear,
with everything that I hear.
And every single door that I´ve walked through
brings me back here again,
I´ve got to find my own way.
The priest and the magician,
singing all the chants that they have ever heard,
they´re all calling out my name,
even academics, searching printed word.
My father to the left of me,
my mother to the right,
like everyone else they´re pointing
but nowhere feels quite right.
And I need someone to believe in, someone to trust.
I need someone to believe in, someone to trust.
I´d rather trust a man who doesn´t shout what he´s found
there´s no need to sell if you´re homeward bound.
If I chose a side,
he won´t take me for a ride.
Back inside
this chamber of so many doors
I´ve nowhere to hide.
I´d give you all of my dreams if you´d help me
find a door
that doesn´t lead me back again
- take me away.
