Time for a little advertisement ...

Have you already seen Sandra´s online shop? You may know her work from many publications like Somerset Wedding, and I know that many of you love her style, so you may want to check out her shop and artwork here. (There´s an English version, too.)

More Letter C ATCs

The last two ATCs for this swap - yes, the little girl is me (many, many years ago).

Spring is in the air

... so here´s another nesting bird.

Nest

Two ATCs for Nancy.

Chaos

An ATC for a Letter C swap.

Journal "Superheroes"

My entry for Fred´s RR journal "Superheroes" has been a hard one ... First I had no idea what to do, but then it dawned to me that my personal superheroes have always been writers and painters. So I proudly present SpiderGoethe, BatRilke, and SuperBrecht with a quote from Solomon Eagle (German readers might know it from the novel "Tintenherz"). OMG, this challenge was really out of my box!

Postage People Update

Xela´s and Marilyn´s ATCs have arrived now, and you can have a look at Karen´s Postage People here.

A House for my Gothic Arches

How do you store your Gothic Arches? Mine have found a new home today: This box is about 4,53 x 4,53 inches wide and 7,48 inches tall.
I have used some found objects and some I have received from my friends Mary, Ute, Christa, and Trudi. Thanks!

Doorways

This week´s theme for the 4 x 4 Friday is Doorways - as I got this new stamp today, I just had to use it here.

Tree ATCs

Two tree themed ATCs for Ulla:
Talk about Trees and Night Falls.

Friendship Moo Cards

This week´s theme for the new challenge blog "Make a Moo or two" is Friendship. Sorry for the bad scan, these little cards aren´t easy to scan - they are much brighter IRL.

The ATCs for the Postage People swap are due March 15th, so I´ve sent an update and reminder to all participants today. If you didn´t get it by mistake please let me know!
In the meantime, ATCs from Viola, Ingeborg, and Bevlea have arrived, and some other entries are on their way.
And there has been another sign up by Lucy - you can see two of her ATCs here.
It´s not too late to sign up and join the fun!

Another Child

Children themed ATCs do not necessarily have to be cute - this second one for Gaby ´surely isn´t.

A Princess Needs A Prince

... and she found him on the ATC for this week´s TMTA theme "Children and Birds".

Am I mad?

Yes ... mad about crows! Show me a bear - and I´ll probably take a photo of the lovely crow in front of it ...

Couldn´t resist this cute crowned bird!

Like a Stranger

O. k., maybe I should join both swaps ...

Another Bird Woman

Doesn´t she look happy?

Bird People

Two of my groups have ATC swaps themed "Bird People" going on at the moment. Not sure if I´ll send these and where, but I´ve had fun making them tonight. My favourites are the two cards above; believe me I´m still whistling Carly Simon´s song ... I got the wonderful book page about duck migration from Wendy, thank you so much!

Make a Moo or two

Have you already seen Nellie´s new challenge site for Moo cards "Make a Moo or two"?
The first theme is "Romance", and here are my Moo cards "Old Love" and "Young Love".

Skinny Tristan and Isold

This is a skinny page (3 x 5 inches) for a monthly mingle in one of my groups - the February theme is "Love and Friendship", and I´ve chosen Tristan and Isold again.

Journal "Stone"

Here´s my spread for Dani´s RR journal themed "Stone". The quote on the right page is from Goethe and says: Even of stones that somebody laid in your way something beautiful can be built. Reminds me of "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade" ...

Gothic Arch Purple

Purple is today´s theme for the Gothic Arches challenge. It´s one of my favourite colours, carrying some mystery in my opinion. So I like to combine it with my favourite birds ;-)

More Postage People Links

And here´s another link for you to see what Bevlea has made for the swap; there are more cards from her here.
And Lay Hoon from Malaysia has also finished her ATCs.
Then Jenene´s cards arrived today from Australia, but she doesn´t have an online album so they will be a surprise for the happy recipients.

The birds come back ...

... and here´s the first one after quite a long time ;-))
It´s for Sabine´s letter B swap.

Skinny Book - R is for Relaxed

This week´s challenge for our Skinny Alphabet book was to use dimensional elements with our letter R page - mine are the letters themselves. The relaxed lady is sculptor Elisabet Ney who was born in the town where I live now and has gone to the USA in 1871 and died in Austin/TX in 1907. She has been a very unusual artist, deleting the "h" as a last letter in her first name and wearing short hear.
