... and more

As you can see these ATCs are pretty diverse: transfers, collages, and stamped ATCs.

More ATCs for Stuttgart

I´ve told you before that I´ve been busy making some ATCs for personal trades at the stamping convention in Stuttgart on April 5 and 6. Here are some more ...

Nick Bantock Rubber Stamps

My sister has more Nick Bantock stamps than I have, so I love to stamp ATCs with them when I´m visiting her.

Dying Eggs and Papers

Did you dye your Easter eggs this year? We have and once again we have used the remaining paint to dye some papers ...

Busy Easter Days

These are some of the ATCs I´ve made for personal trades at the "Stempelmesse Süd" in Stuttgart I´ll be visiting soon. I´ve been on a roll today filling up my album for trades. Please click on the image to enlarge it and see the details.

My sister´s alphabet stamps

As every year, I´m visiting my sister for an Easter holiday right now. Yesterday I fell in love with a rubber stamp alphabet she has bought recently and made these three ATCs. These letters are sooo beautiful!
(BTW, the ATC in the middle is another German lesson for you: the German word "Aufschwung" means "backswing" as well as "boom" ...)

Remember my Skinny Alphabet Book themed "In the Mood"?
The challenge for our Letter B page was to use vintage lace or trim.

Ravens

Two Raven themed ATCs for Xela. And here´s my third German lesson: the right one says "Rabenschwarz" which means "black as a crow".

ATCs Books

Two Books themed ATCs for Xela. The quote on the left one says "Reading means dreaming with open eyes".

Numbers ATCs

Two Numbers ATCs for Manja.
(And a second lesson of my little German course: In German "The bill, please" means "Zahlen, bitte", so Zahlen means "to pay" as well as "numbers".)

In my Garden

When I did the research for the Chinese Proverbs journal, I stumbled upon this Chinese proverb about books. If I had a garden the most important things there would be a chair, a book, and a cup of coffee. There could be butterflies, birds, snakes, and flowers around me but I wouldn´t notice them. I´m happy that I have a balcony at least ...
This arch is for today´s Wednesday Stamper´s theme "In my Garden".

Postage People Finish

This swap now comes to an end - Lubna´s and Beckie´s ATCs have arrived yesterday, and you can have a look at Claudia´s beautiful cards here.
Thanks to you all for sending your cards in time! I´ll be able to swap this weekend and hope you´ll be satisfied with your returns.

Journal "Chinese Proverbs"

If you know my soft spot for crows maybe you don´t believe that this hasn´t been the first Chinese proverb that came to my mind when I got Beckie´s RR journal ...
But it´s right: I´ve had about six different ideas because there are SO MANY great Chinese proverbs! O. k., I admit that it´s no wonder that I´ve chosen this one in the end :-))
(The whole spread is too wide so you see the left page above and the right page below of course.)

Most of the envelopes I´m waiting for are on their way now, and we´ve had another sign up last week. Look here and you´ll see that Lubna´s ATCs do not look like last minute cards at all!
And Karen´s and Mandy´s ATCs have just arrived here - you can see Mandy´s lovely cards here.

This week´s challenge at Make a Moo or Two is Children. I couldn´t resist to use these stamps I haven´t used for a long time - their size is just perfect for Moo cards! (Stamps by Stempelmine, Zettiology, and Cherry Pie)

Learning German

These are ATCs for a Letter D swap that work only in German - Denken means Thinking, Dach is Roof, and Dunkelmänner are Obscurantists in English.
Unfortunately the scan doesn´t show the thin copper wire on the first card, marking the thoughts going round your brain.

A Pair of Glasses

This week´s Wednesday Stamper´s challenge is "A Pair of Glasses", so here´s my arch for that theme.

A touch of spring

In case you´ve asked yourself why I´ve done the spring cleaning on my blog yesterday while some of you still have loads of snow in front of their homes - this is what I can see on my balcony today ...

One last ambitious fish

This last ATC for the fish swap is about something I don´t like at all - ambition.
I´ve had a little blog cleaning today and labelled all previous entries. I hope this will make it easier for you (and me) to navigate on my blog. You´ll find the labels in the sidebar.

More Fish

Two more for the fish swap - "Through the ruins" and "Go - but not with the crowd".

Postage People Update

Hi swap participants, I´ve just sent another update via e-mail to you all. As I have major problems contacting people because of spam filters I´m not sure if you all received my mail; if not, please let me know.
I´m waiting for 8 more envelopes. The due date is only two weeks away, so if your cards aren´t already here or in the mail please send them soon so that they arrive before March 15. Or if you can´t meet the deadline, please let me know.

Skinny Book - L is for Lascivious

This is my letter L page for our Paper Traders Skinny Alphabet Book project. My book´s theme is "In the Mood", and this time our challenge was to use gold leaf on the page. So the small stamped circles in the background are made with real gold leaf.

Sing!

In my imagination the little boy gets coloured when he starts to sing ...

I let my eyes wander ...

... look where they´re going.
