Scarecrow

We´ve had a warm November so far, but this weekend it´s definitely Autumn weather with rain and wind (though it´s still warm). What I like about Autumn are the warm colours of nature, and I´ve used them for my card for this week´s Sunday Postcard Art challenge. When Mandy (who is running that challenge blog) asked me to host again, I thought that "Scarecrows" could be a nice theme that we haven´t seen too often. I just hope it´s interesting enough for you to show us your interpretation!
(By the way - do you really think that such a puppet is able to scare the very intelligent crows?)

This is fantastic. Great stamps and color choices. I thought of traditional scarecrows like this, too, but my muse took me in a slightly different direction in my artwork. And I think crows are too smart to be fooled by a scarecrow.

A wonderful card Marion, and a fun theme - even though I thought you might have stumped me at first! :). Love the colours you’ve used. I would love to visit you and your sister and see your stamp collections - I’m sure there are very few things ‘missing’ from them!

I love the newsprint background you've chosen for your scarecrow, and the very clever use of color. Applause from me!
