Moths is this week´s theme for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge, and while I didn´t want to make a card featuring brown moths on a dark background, I thought of Marlene Dietrich´s famous song from "Der Blaue Engel", "Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuß auf Liebe eingestellt" from 1930. In my eyes, Marlene is one of the very few persons from this time Germans can be proud of as she was emotional and intelligent enough to chose the right side and fight against fascism, no matter what her country thought of her.
That famous song was written by Friedrich Hollaender for the movie "Der Blaue Engel", an interpretation of Heinrich Mann´s novel that made Marlene Dietrich a movie star, so let´s celebrate her for her courage and character - she deserves it.

Beautiful work on this, well done.
perfect! so lovely! xo
Clever design!!
Beautiful colors in this.
I love your stamped collage, Marion, and that you have Marlene featured. She won the Medal of Freedom over here in USA for her work selling war bonds and entertaining the WWII troops. I know she played the saw as a musical instrument and it was a big hit with the soldiers! I think Destry Rides Again was her breakthrough to a Hollywood star movie. But I also liked her in Hitchcock's Stage Fright. I know Hedy Lamarr was Austrian, but she also came from Max Reinhardt acting school and once here she developed the basis for WIFI, yet died penniless. Gave the technology to US gov't freely with gratitude for taking her in. Yes, lots of guts and courage! And clear right from wrong character, even if they didn't always choose wisely! lol XOX
